In January 2017, Tony Merkel embarked on his transformative journey when he launched The Confessionals podcast as a passion project alongside his full-time job. Fast forward five years, and this once side hustle has blossomed into a flourishing career. Today, Tony, a devoted follower of Christ, is passionately shaping the future of media through Merkel Media. His vision for Merkel Media encompasses the realms of filmmaking, podcasting, and children's entertainment, all driven by a singular mission derived from his convictions as a follower of Christ: to inspire the future of culture today.

Joseph Granda

Head of Film

Mr. Granda boasts an extensive background in the film industry. His journey has taken him from the grand stages of Broadway to working alongside luminaries such as Tony Scott, Keanu Reeves, and Mira Sorvino in distinct film projects.

In addition to his acting career, he's also ventured into the realm of filmmaking, having written and directed the feature film "The Healing Garden" and much more, with exciting projects on the horizon. Caleb Moore

Executive Producer

From youth, Caleb has had an appreciation for great storytelling. However, the Lord led his path through the financial and banking worlds, building for the future. While on this journey, he has had numerous opportunities to serve on several different types of boards, advanced through leadership positions, and learned from great leaders by working with them side-by-side. In 2021, the Lord laid on his heart the need to support and help create great storytelling, and in what can only be described as Divine Providence, 2022 saw both he and Merkel Media come together. The future looks bright!
